PamPac's High Speed Blister Packing Machine BP-602
Functional Description :
The forming film is either fed via an integrated unwinding station or from a jumbo film unwinding station
(800mm). Motorised unwinding and splicing table ensures fast roll change. The moving pre-heating
station heats the web. The cavities are formed using compressed air between water chilled forming
tools. Plugs are used for cold formed aluminium blisters.
The formed plastic film is filled with gentle handling and chipping and dusting of uncoated tablets is
avoided through the vibrating action. Universal feeding system, fill box for coated spherical tablets and
multiple feeders can be incorporated on a case to case basis. Non-fill-detection systems are used to
detect empty cavities.
The lidding foil is unwound by a motor and fed to the sealing station. If necessary the foil print can be
registered. Commercially available on-line printers for on-line printing of foil text can also be supplied
with the machine. The forming film and the lidding foil are sealed between flat plates which guarantee
uniform distribution of sealing force and attain low sealing temperature level. Contact cooling plates
stabilise the sealed web.
